LGBTQ+ Book Club

Join us for our very first book discussion on Monday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. The book is The Prophets by Robert Jones, Jr. Here's the description from Goodreads: "A novel about the forbidden union between two enslaved young men on a Deep South plantation, the refuge they find in each other, and a betrayal that threatens their existence." The Prophets is available through the Delaware County District Library, or you can order it from locally owned and operated Beanbag Books and get a 10 percent discount. OUT at the Campgrounds

The category is Camp… No really, grab your tent we’re going camping!

It’s that time again for our annual trip to the campgrounds! Come join other LGBTQIA+ and allied members of the community for a weekend of camping, hiking, fishing, and fun! Location is within Delaware County. For security and safety concerns, exact location will be disclosed to participants via email on confirmation of participation. Limited spaces are available so if you're interested in spending the weekend outdoors with our friendly faces, send an email with your info (number of people, names, ages, and best way to contact you).

  • Children under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. 

  • Tent camping only!

  • Restroom facilities are available onsite.

  • If planning to fish, please make sure proper fishing license is acquired beforehand from the state.Delaware Ohio Pride has the right to ask you to leave the campsite and/or call the authorities if you are not following the rules.

  • Participants are required to bring all their own camping equipment, gear, and food and are responsible for their own belongings.

Out on the Town!

Thursday evenings

Looking to meet up regularly and informally with other LGBTQ+ folks? Join us for our “Out on the Town” weekly gathering at Old Dog Alehouse, 13 W. William St., on Thursdays starting at 6 p.m. Sometimes there's just a few of us, sometimes a small crowd. Come for dinner or a beverage. Ask for the Pride table, or look for the folx with Pride apparel. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet members of the community. Hope to see you there soon!
