About the event

“Understanding and Supporting Trans People” is an educational and affirming session designed to help participants build knowledge, empathy, and practical skills for supporting transgender individuals in everyday life. Together, we will explore respectful language, common experiences, and ways to create safer, more inclusive environments in our workplaces, families, and communities.
This event is open to anyone who wants to learn more — whether you are brand new to these conversations or continuing your journey as an ally. Participants will leave with greater confidence in how to show support, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to a culture where everyone feels seen, valued, and respected.
Presented by Delaware Ohio Pride, this session reflects our commitment to education, connection, and building a community where everyone belongs.
