VENDOR APPLICATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

DELAWARE OHIO PRIDE FESTIVAL:

​

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Boardman Arts Park

154 W William St, Delaware, OH 43015.

 

Thank you for your interest in participating in Delaware Ohio Pride.

Please see the below information regarding community organization

and vendor booth registration and set-up.

Space/Booth Details:
No structure may exceed 15’ in height. You may provide any tent or booth structure as long as it falls within the City of Delaware safety guidelines and fits within the space you have rented. Your tent must be properly weighted (at least 10 pounds per leg) or otherwise firmly secured. 

DELAWARE OHIO PRIDE WILL NOT PROVIDE TABLES OR CHAIRS FOR VENDOR BOOTHS.

 

Delaware Ohio Pride has final determination over the placement of all booths within the designated location. 

 

Please note that this event is a gated event. You can arrive for set-up any time between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. You will be given 15 minutes to unload your vehicle at your booth location. 

 

Please move your vehicle off the festival grounds to allow others to do the same.

Vendors will have the option of closing at 4:30 p.m. or staying open through the end of the event.

 

No vehicles will be permitted to drive into the vendor area after 9:30 a.m. until after the festival ends at 5:00 p.m. 

 

If space is left with garbage, debris, tent weights, etc. your business/organization will be charged a $50 fee. 

 

Unpaid invoices can result in your business/organization not being permitted at subsequent Delaware Pride events.

 

NO FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE SOLD OR DISTRIBUTED FROM BOOTHS UNLESS THEY HAVE A MOBILE OR TEMPORARY FOOD LICENSE.

 

Foods exempt from licensing includes: prepackaged wrapped candies, bottled water, and bottled sodas.

Noise:
As a courtesy to other exhibitors, Delaware Ohio Pride reserves the right to limit amplified sound from your booth.

Special Requests:
All special requests must be included with this application. We will try to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee their execution. Late requests will not be considered.

Cancellations:
We regret to inform you if you decide to cancel, you will not be refunded.

​

For All Registrants:
This agreement affirms the business/organization represented by the applicant supports the mission of Delaware Ohio Pride –to celebrate and educate the LGBTQ+ community in Delaware, Ohio, and its surroundings areas while fighting for equal rights for all. Signature of this agreement also affirms that the individual, organization, or business named does not discriminate in hiring, employment, participation or services rendered based on the fact or perception of a person’s race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic partner status, disability or Acquired
Immune Deficiency Syndrome or HIV status.

Staffing:
Booths must be staffed during festival hours. Please flag down a volunteer if you need to leave your booth and need assistance.

​

Festival Day Check-In:
All vendors must check in at the Delaware Ohio Pride Information Booth before setting up. There you will be given your booth number and tag and be shown to your location by one of our volunteers.

Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m.

 

No vehicles will be permitted to enter the grounds after 9:30 a.m. All vendors must be set up by the opening of the festival at 10:00 a.m.

Family Friendly:
We want Delaware Ohio Pride to be a fun experience for all ages. If your booth displays anything that would be considered adult-only in nature, please indicate that on the application so we can take steps to arrange booths in a way that is appropriate for the event.

​

Adult Content:
Delaware Ohio Pride reserves the right to restrict any and all items or images of “adult nature.” Although Delaware Ohio Pride celebrates all lifestyles, we must keep the event family-friendly.

 

DOP might take the following actions:

​

-Items may be asked to be placed at the rear of a booth

-Covered up with a "Adult Only" signage

-Ask items not be displayed at all

-Deny application or be asked to leave the festival

 

So please be aware of that while filling out this application and planning for your trip to Delaware.

​

Canvassing:
Vendors are strictly prohibited from “canvassing” or roaming the grounds dispensing promotional material to direct traffic to their booth. Canvassers will be asked to leave the festival grounds to maintain a fair and opportune space for other vendors. If your organization has petitions and is requesting the public for public signatures, they must stay at the assigned booth and comply with people's requests to deny signing or to be bothered.

 

Attendance:
Delaware Ohio Pride cannot make guarantees regarding festival attendance. Vendors must also agree that DOP cannot control the weather, “acts of God,” acts of terrorism or government intervention. DOP shall be held harmless for any losses that could arise from such an event.
